The Gentle Giants Project: Protecting Asia’s Wildlife & Ocean Life
Initiated by AWPC WILD, the Gentle Giants Project is our flagship conservation effort dedicated to protecting Asia’s rich biodiversity, both on land and in the ocean. This initiative focuses on two iconic species—the Asian elephant and the Blue whale—symbolizing the vast and intricate ecosystems they represent.
“We plan to launch this project in the summer of 2025, focusing on wildlife and ocean conservation across Asia. Our current focus is on preparing the plan for the next 12 to 36 months.”
By safeguarding these gentle giants, we aim to promote the conservation of countless other species that share their habitats. Through this project, AWPC WILD is committed to ensuring the well-being of elephants, whales, and the broader wildlife and marine ecosystems across Asia, reinforcing our mission to protect nature for future generations.
